Vatican Museums, Gardaland, Scavi di Pompei and Naples underground were chosen as the best venues in Italy by international tourists at the Remarkable Venue Awards 2018 in Rome.

On Thursday evening 17th of May in Rome, Tiqets handed out awards for the most remarkable museums and attractions in Italy. These Italian venues have been recognized for their quality and innovation by tourists from all over the world.

The winning venues received the best reviews and scored the highest ratings in over 300,000 tourist reviews from more than 130 countries. Venues were scored on criteria including simple and direct entrance, digital ticketing facilities, and last-minute booking availability.

In addition, special attention was given to the best marketing practices, with special guests invited from Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, Madrid. Thyssen-Bornemisza welcomes over a million tourists each year and is seen as one of the market leaders in attracting visitors and delivering a great customer experience in Madrid.
