Keukenhof, Rijksmuseum, ARTIS, A’DAM Lookout chosen as the Netherlands' best venues by international tourists at the Remarkable Venue Awards 2018

Amsterdam, 30 January 2018

The winning venues received the best reviews and scored the highest ratings in over 300,000 reviews from tourists from more than 130 countries. Venues were scored on criteria including simple and direct entrance, digital ticketing facilities and last minute booking availability.

In addition, special attention was given to the best marketing practices, with special guests invited from the Musée d’Orsay and La Pedrera (Casa Mila). Both of these high-profile museums from Paris and Barcelona welcome millions of tourists each year and are seen as market leaders in attracting visitors and delivering a great customer experience.

Delphine Crocq, marketing director of Musée d'Orsay, and Monica Andrue and Alba Tosquella, commercial manager and marketing manager of La Pedrera shared some impressive examples of their marketing practices.
