Tiqets partners with Kuala Lumpur’s fastest airport transport service

In Tiqets’ effort to make traveling in Asian destinations more accessible to foreign visitors, the global ticketing brand has partnered with Kuala Lumpur's fastest airport transport service, KLIA Ekspres. Through partnership with the high speed rail line, Tiqets’ customers will now have the option of purchasing a fast and seamless airport transfer to Kuala Lumpur’s city center.

This partnership benefits both companies immensely. Through this collaboration with Tiqets, KLIA Ekspres is opening up Western markets with scan-and-go integration to board its high speed trains. Additionally, the train service benefits from Tiqets’ range of language and payment options available on its platform, allowing a hassle-free experience to the millions of travelers flying to Kuala Lumpur International Airport every year.

In addition to the mobile ticketing convenience Tiqets provides to its international user base,  the company that dedicates itself to cultural accessibility is expanding its range of products from museums and attractions to high quality transportation solutions. Helping tourists have a better experience while traveling is one of Tiqets’ main goals. The 28-minute travel time with KLIA Ekspres is the fastest way to reach the Malaysian capital’s city center and was therefore an ideal partner for Tiqets, which curates its platform, ensuring it contains only quality products.

Maarten Raaijmakers, Tiqets’ Chief Supply Officer, weiged in on the successful partnership with KLIA Ekspres:

Expanding our network of suppliers to transportation companies is a natural step toward our goal of making culture more accessible to everyone around the globe. Partnering with the fantastic services of KLIA Ekspres benefits Tiqets’ efforts to deliver the best consumer experience while using our platform. Like many other cities in which we operate, our customers traveling to Malaysia will now have access to a skip-the-line experience from the moment they land.  Maarten Raaijmakers

Noormah Mohd Noor, Chief Executive Officer of Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL), the operator of KLIA Ekspres gave his blessing:

We are delighted to be working with Tiqets to make KLIA Ekspres available on their innovative ticketing platform. This partnership further strengthens our commitment to providing more purchase options and convenience for travelers planning their Malaysian adventure. We are looking forward to growing our partnership with Tiqets in the coming months. Noormah Mohd Noor
